Pull Apart Morning Biscuits

Did eight people show up for breakfast this morning? It's Sunday and you want something for everyone to enjoy but don't want to spend a lot of time in the kitchen? This is the perfect recipe you can make in no time at all.

Prep time: 20 min
Cook time: 26 min
Total time: 46 min

  • 5 Extra large eggs
  • ¼ Cup of milk
  • 16.3 oz Pillsbury Grands! Flaky Layers Original Biscuits (Feel free to try any style)
  • 1-2 green onions
  • 2 Cups shredded mild cheddar cheese
  • 4-5 strips of bacon (or any left over meats)

  1. Beat your eggs and milk together in a large bowl
  2. Cut your biscuits into four pieces each, then add the biscuits to the egg and milk mixture. Let this soak while you work on everything else.
  3. Cook your bacon. Pat your bacon dry to take away the extra grease when it is done and dice into quarter inch pieces.
  4. Shred the cheddar cheese. Set aside a quarter cup for the top of your dish.
  5. Cut your green onions and add them into the bowl of eggs and biscuits. (If you have people who don't like onions you can add the onions later to half the dish.)
  6. Add your cheese and bacon to the egg, biscuit, and milk. Stir well.
  7. Spray a 9x13 pan with non-stick spray ,or butter, and add the mixture to the pan. Sprinkle remaining 1/4 cheese on top of the dish.
  8. Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 26 minutes.

Experiment with spinach or other leafy vegetables. Steer clear of veggies like mushrooms which release a lot of liquid. You could try other meats as well but you'll need to spice it up to make up for the loss of smoky bacon flavor.
