We can argue the case for shaking versus stirring gin but let's please do it after I've made my Gibson.


Martini Glass


  • 1 1/5 jigger gin
  • 1 drop of extra dry vermouth
  • 2 pearl onions


  • 2 Pearl onions


  1. Fill your shaker with ice. 
  2. Add gin and vermouth.
  3. Fill your martini glass with water and ice.
  4. Shake gin and vermouth until well chilled.
  5. Toss the ice and water from your martin glass pout your shaken gin mix into the glass. You should see ice crystals floating at the top. 
  6. Drop in two pearl onions and serve.
