Shrimp with Garlic Cream Sauce

So incredibly simple to make and both light and rich at the same time. The pork belly gives it a little extra oomph.

Yield: 4 servings


  • 2 Cloves garlic, unpeeled
  • 1/2 Cup corn
  • 12 Large shrimp, peeled
  • 1/4 Cup Bacon or Roasted Pork Belly
  • 2 Tbs olive oil
  • 1 1/2 Cups heavy cream
  • 1/4 Cup finely chopped parsley
  • 1/2 Cup grated Parmesan
  • 8 Oz fresh pasta (linguine, spaghetti, etc), cooked and drained
  • Sea Salt and white pepper


  1. Peel shrimp and sauté just until no longer pink. Remove and set aside.
  2. Peel the garlic and finely chop. 
  3. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and pork belly and cook for 1 minute. 
  4. Add corn and cook for additional minute.
  5. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Cook until cream begins to thicken. 
  6. Stir in parsley, Parmesan cheese and shrimp. Season with salt and pepper. 
  7. Add pasta to skillet and toss to coat. Garnish with parsley and Parmesan.
