Ahi Tuna with Wasabi Mayonnaise

A tasty and fresh Ahi meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Mayonnaise
  • 1 Tbs Wasabi paste
  • 1 Tsp Chili sauce
  • 1 Tsp Sesame Oil
  • 2 Tuna steaks
  • 2 Tbs Black Peppercorns
  • 2 Tbs White Peppercorns
  • 2 Tbs Green Peppercorns
  • 2 Tbs Pink Peppercorns
  • 1 Tsp Salt
  • 1 Tbs Olive oil

Directions

  1. Mix wasabi mixture in a bowl and refrigerate.
  2. Grind all peppercorns and salt in a mortar and pestle.
  3. Spread peppercorn mixture into a flat pan and coat tun on all sides.
  4. Add olive oil to pan and fry tuna steaks for 1-2 minutes on each side. Pick tuna up and briefly fry all of the sides of the tuna.
  5. Cut tuna into 1/4" slices and plate.
  6. Serve wasabi mixture in a dipping bowl with the tuna steaks.
