One of my favorite dishes from Japan. It has a very fresh Korean taste to it. Goes well with beer!Ingredients- 1 Cup Kimchee (Use the good stuff, not your grocery store pickled cabbage.)
- 1/2 lb Bacon (best to use fresh sliced thick slices.)
- 1 Tbs Sake
- 1 Tbs Soy Sauce
- 1 Tbs Sesame Oil
Instructions- Combine the sake, soy sauce and sesame oil in a small bowl.
- Slice bacon into 3/8" strips.
- In a wok fry bacon until cooked but not yet crispy.
- Add the kimchi and stir-fry over high heat for 2 minutes.
- Pour the sauce and mix in for another minute or two.
- Serve hot over rice or as a side dish.
